It’s Smoothie Saturday
Welcome to Smoothie Saturday! If you’ve never been here before, thanks for stopping by to check it out, I’m so glad you did! Each week I post a new and delightful smoothie recipe. Since, I have a slight obsession with a daily smoothie fix - I love sharing my secrets with you.
I know… it’s Memorial Day weekend, and I should be sharing a Blueberry or some Raz-Strawberry summer type of smoothie, but instead our menu is:
Pumpkin Smoothie
Why Pumpkin during the month of May you ask?….. Well, my very persistent daughter has basically been harassing me ever since we stopped by Jamba Juice, where she tried their Pumpkin Smoothie. She’s now…..Obsessed! So I figured what the heck - let’s try a new recipe at home instead of paying over $4.00 at the store for one, right? So, even though summer is here in full force this weekend, we are going backwards and enjoying a fall favorite, are you’re with me? Just grab a few ingredients and go for it.
Ingredients:
1 Banana, sliced
1/3 cup of Pumpkin Puree
1/3 cup vanilla flavored greek yogurt
1 cup of Almond Milk
A dash of Pumpkin Pie Spice
6 Ice Cubes
Add all your ingredients to your blender, mix well, and you’ve got yourself a sweet pumpkin smoothie.
It’s SO easy to make this smoothie, and my daughter was happy too, it was a win/win! The pumpkin puree I used was 15oz, so you’ll have plenty left over to make more of these fun smoothies. I hope you and your kids enjoy this just as much as we did.
Makes 1 serving.
Have you ever tried a Pumpkin Smoothie?
Have a great weekend!

Looks delicious!! I love pumpkin, but living in Thailand means that we can’t get most of the ingredients

I love your 3-ingredient dinner post. I love recipes that are easy to make and yours only has 3 ingredients, yummy. I wonder if you could try fresh pumpkin instead of puree for a smoothie? Then maybe adding something to give it a sweeter flavor like a yogurt of some-kind.
This looks so good I just called my mother-in-law (we all live in Italy) to ask her where I can find pumpkin puree. She said “in a pumpkin”. Oh. Perfect! Looks like I’ll have to wait until fall to try this but it looks AMAZING!!!!
Found you via Weekday Mixer!!!

That made me smile - you’re so sweet, you called to ask about puree. I guess we are spoiled in the states because it’s already pre-made. I do have a pumpkin garden growing, so this fall I will give this recipe with a new twist the “real” thing. I love all your sweet treats photo from Coffee Date #2, delicious!
Stopping in from the Create & Share hop. I’ve tried and failed to come up with a good pumpkin smoothie. (So gross. So sad.) I’m pinning this so my next try won’t be disappointing!

Hi Meghan, you’re right its hard to find a good pumpkin smoothie. My daughter loves them from Jamba Juice but they are SO sweet. This one isn’t as sweet as those, but by adding a banana and a dash of honey to it, gives it a nice flavor. Let me know how yours comes out! I hope you enjoy it
mmm! I love pumpkin! I bet this is delicious!
