What a fun craft this was for the kids. Both kids had so much fun picking out what pom-poms to use and where to place them. It’s a pom-pom covered plastic container. You can use it for collecting eggs or fill it with candy.
The Supplies Needed:
Empty plastic food container (I used a sour cream container)
3 Pipe Cleaners
Assorted Pom-Poms
Hole Punch
Hot Glue Gun (for parents-only)
Double-Sided Tape
Instructions:
Use a clean and empty food container, such as a sour cream container.
Make one hole on each side of the container 1/4″ from the top (this will be for your handle).
Twist 2 pipe cleaners (different colors) together, insert each end into the holes in the container. Bend the ends of each pipe cleaner upwards - to hold in place. Now you have your handle attached.
Cover the outside of the container completely with double-sided tape. Next, you can place all your pom-poms on the outside of the container, tightly next to one another and covering outside of container completely. (We used different sizes to add more dimension).
Finally, heat your hot glue gun (for parents only) and add the trim (pipe cleaner) to the top of the container. You may need 2 pipe cleaners to fill the trim (depending on the size of container you used).
Fill basket with eggs, candy, or whatever Easter treats you like.

Thanks Kaitlyn. These pom-pom baskets were easy and fun too! I am using it right now as part of our centerpiece for Easter. I just filled it with plastic eggs and it’s a perfect little decoration. Thanks for hosting the TGIF Blog Hop too, super fun and excited for each week!!
