Carrot Cake Smoothie

It’s Smoothie Saturday!

It’s a holiday weekend, and I’m in the spirit of Easter. I decided to share a Carrot Cake Smoothie for our Smoothie Saturday! I thought this could help us all get festive by enjoying a quick, but nutritious, Carrot Cake Smoothie. This is great because it doesn’t require a whole lot of ingredients, but has a sweet and satisfying flavor.

Ingredients

1 Cup of Fresh Carrot Juice

1 Sliced banana

1 tsp Flaxseed

4 Ice-cubes

Dash of Cinnamon and Dash of Nutmeg

1 Scoop of Protein Power (Optional)

Add all ingredients into blender, mix well and you’ve got yourself a Carrot Cake Smoothie. Perfect for a mid-morning snack or just a treat because it tastes oh-so yummy. I hope you enjoy. I’d love to hear how your Carrot Cake Smoothie tastes.

Comments always welcome and much appreciated!

    • Hi Dana, love your site! Thanks for stopping by here at Krafts and Kiddos. The flaxseed gives the smoothie that added thickness, and it makes me feel better to get more vitamins in there, if I can. I hope you enjoy making one of my smoothies. They are pretty easy to make and nice and satisfying. I post a new smoothie recipe each Saturday. Happy Friday!!!

  2. Oh my I can’t wait to try this one, just the name has me drooling. I have a weakness for smoothies, and I’m thinking this is going to be one of my favorites. :) I had to pin it, thanks so much for linking up with us on the TGIF Blog & Instagram Hop. Have a great weekend. :)
